I don’t get out to the TLOMA events nearly as much as I would like to due to time constraints and conflicting priorities but yesterday’s professional development session Making A Leadership Difference reminded of the importance of making the effort. The guest speaker was insightful and entertaining and the topic very relevant. He reminded me that as much as we all like to believe our situation is unique, we are all in this together facing similar challenges and we can all make a difference in our own way. That was perhaps the best take away from the session. That and don’t assume!Attending this session gave me renewed perspective and reminded me why I do what I do. Well worth the time and effort!
