Description

Ontario lawyers and law firms are targeted by cybercrime on a daily basis.  Many have suffered significant financial losses and/or practice interruptions after being duped or hacked. The scams and frauds are evolving and taking on new forms.

This session will review:

• current cybercrime dangers and the steps that can be taken to reduce or eliminate them;
• review the most common causes of claims and risk management strategies that can reduce claims risk, and 
• changes to the 2017 LAWPRO insurance program will also be reviewed.
