Asset Leases: Do you know the in’s and out’s of leasing
and how to save your firm $$$?
This session will provide you with essential information, and “what to look for”, while negotiating a lease for purchases of equipment, furniture, telephone systems, software and even leasehold improvements. A decision from your Managing Partner or Executive Committee has been made, now it is your job to go out and find the best solution and financing to meet your needs and save your firm money.
Key learning components are: Term of the lease, interest rate, standard terms and conditions of a lease agreement, and end of lease options.
Who should attend? Anyone who has a role in the acquisition of assets for their firm and/or the financing of them.
Our speaker, Wendy Scott is a Senior Account Manager with Maxium Financial Services Inc., a valued business partner of TLOMA for many years.
After studying Accounting and Business Administration at Seneca College, Wendy entered the equipment finance industry. With over 25 years in the industry, Wendy has proven indispensable in the ongoing management of key corporate accounts for Maxium for the last 15 years. Her strong technical background in both documentation and lease structuring, has positioned her well to handle these multiple account relationships, while she continues to orchestrate new business opportunities. On a personal note, Wendy is married and lives in Uxbridge, Ontario. Wendy enjoys summer months the most, with golfing and watching her two children play soccer and baseball. She enjoys curling to make the winter months bearable!
