2013 Compensation Survey - Training Session
The new survey methodology implements new best practice and standardized survey methodology. This methodology uses job families and career levels descriptions with compensable factors - there are no longer benchmark job descriptions. While not all career levels may apply in all firms, the methodology typifies traditional career progressions within an organization. Firms with no current grading/evaluation system can use this methodology to assist them in managing the internal equity of their pay. This methodology also provides the ability to match jobs that were previously unavailable. In addition, this methodology allows us to incorporate member feedback that is consistently received regarding the need for job levels and general industry jobs.
