This session on Money Laundering will discuss various money laundering typologies, FATF standards, and will discuss a couple of cases involving law offices. The lecture will be approximately 1-1/2 hours in length.
Our Speaker:
Gene Hann is a member of the RCMP's expert witness program. Gene has 30 years police experience and has been in a dedicated Proceeds position since January 1990. Gene has seized, restrained and forfeited several million dollar investigations. He has executed search warrants at law offices in the course of his duties. He has lectured on proceeds investigations to Canadian investigative bodies, the Canadian and Ontario police colleges, various financial institutions and regulatory bodies, as well as an international symposium.
