Firm Administrator
Who We Are:
Stohn Hay Cafazzo Heim Finlay LLP is a growing entertainment and copyright focused law practice based in Toronto, advising clients in the entertainment, media and creative industries across Canada and internationally.
What We are Looking For: We are seeking a Firm Administrator who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm. In this role, the Firm Administrator will work closely with the partners to manage the firm's financial, administrative, human resources, facilities, and IT infrastructures supporting long-term planning, operational scaling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Financial: Oversees the firm’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning to support profitability, operational efficiency, and firm-wide financial goals.
- Administrative: Manages the firm’s daily administrative operations, compliance, policies, vendor relationships, and client service processes to ensure efficient and professional business operations.
- HR + Facilities: Oversees administrative staff, payroll, benefits, scheduling, workplace culture, and office facilities to support effective firm operations and employee experience.
- IT Infrastructure: Manages the firm’s technology systems and IT initiatives to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations that support business performance and client service.
- Other firm-related duties and projects as assigned by the partners.
Qualifications +Skills:
- Solid experience in management including finance, operations, HR, and technology
- Tech-savvy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications and CosmoLex Practice Management/Accounting software (preferred but not required) or other practice management/accounting software
- Post-secondary education is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Close attention to detail with strong analytical ability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining your sense of humour.
- Client-service oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adherence to confidentiality and other LSO obligations
