Role Description
Kormans LLP is looking for an experienced full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves handling day-to-day transactions including posting receipts, e-transfers, direct deposits, setting up wires, credit card payments, cut cheques, post disbursement and expenses, accounts payable, billing, and frequent trips to banks for draft pick ups, payouts, certifications for a busy real estate firm. The successful candidate must also be able to work the typical work hours at the firm's location in Mississauga.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role of Accounting Clerk should possess:
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Accounting;
- Strong numerical skills and the knowledge of basic accounting principles;
- Legal accounting experience in a Real Estate Law firm a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment;
- The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required for daily banking;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- The ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional service;
- CosmoLex or similar legal accounting software knowledge;
