Stockwoods LLP is recognized as one of Canada’s leading litigation boutiques. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Clerk to support with daily operation of a busy legal office. This role will combine administrative and clerical support with reception relief ensuring efficient office workflow.
Core Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries and emails.
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Order snacks and kitchen supplies, ensure trays in the boardrooms are filled and refreshed for meetings and events
- Ensure reception and common areas remain presentable and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and order in boardrooms ensuring they are prepared for meetings and events
- Oversee kitchen cleanliness including the proper operation and maintenance of the dishwashers in the mornings and before leaving the office.
- Maintain relationships with catering vendors to facilitate timely and efficient meal deliveries
- Maintain client files and records
- Handle the registration and payment process for seminars and other educational events for lawyers participating in the CPD programs, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Additional Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls,
- Handle general inquiries
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration or a related field
- Previous experience in a legal office
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and office equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Duration: 12 month (April 2026 – April 2027)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
