Marketing - Social Media Coordinator
McCague Borlack LLP is a diverse, mid-sized, leading litigation law firm in Canada offering services to businesses and individuals in a broad range of practice areas. We are currently seeking an individual to support and service our marketing and communications team, overseeing projects with our lawyers, clients, and business professionals. The candidate should have 5 plus years of experience. The core responsibilities will be to support our team in a wide range of areas, including marketing, social media, and digital media content for firm events, seminars, and conferences. The successful candidate must be able to provide initiative-taking and reliable support at all levels of the firm with a high level of proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain firm websites, including bios, articles, news, and event updates.
- Create concise, engaging content for social media platforms.
- Maintain the firm’s client database.
- Assist with marketing requests, e-mail blasts, and name tags for firm events.
- Design and create marketing materials, including editing and proofreading for quality control.
- Set up and circulate events via electronic invitations and maintain RSVP responses.
- Maintain and monitor project schedules.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including formatting firm policies and assisting with client audits.
Requirements and Skills
- Excellent software proficiency in Photoshop, Blogger, Web CMS, and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with content creation and posting to social media platforms such as LinkedIn, FB, and Twitter.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of DMS and pdfDocs in a legal environment would be an asset.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Direct experience in a customer-service-focused environment, with a great attitude, and willingness to learn and contribute to this fast-paced industry.
We are looking for someone eager to start. The salary range is $55K to $65K based on education and experience. In addition to a base salary, the firm offers group benefits, paid vacation, and personal days. Firm employees are working in a hybrid work environment – initially, this is an in-office position.
