Information Technology Support Technician (12 Month Contract)
Technology Support Technician at our busy law firm. We offer an opportunity to work for an industry-leading firm with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Support user account setup, password resets, and access permissions
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including workstation preparation
- Delivering technical training to staff on the use of our software
- Answering inquiries from staff regarding software & network issues and assisting with troubleshooting
- Support Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance, and application deployment
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams and Exchange Online
- Help monitor and maintain endpoint security tools and policies
Qualifications:
- A combination of relevant knowledge, experience, or technical training
- Knowledge of Microsoft O365 administration, & Windows 11
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches, printers, Windows Active Directory)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and modern device management concepts
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
The following skills are not required, but considered an asset:
- Knowledge of o/s imaging software
- Experience in scripting language, particularly Visual Basic/VBA
- Experience with Microsoft Access Database
- Advanced proficiency with formatting in Microsoft Word
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
The successful candidate must have:
- The ability to quickly learn new procedures and software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
- Able to multitask and change priorities quickly as business needs dictate
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, respect and commitment to service excellence
