Legal Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detailed-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our busy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a minimum of 3 lawyers with scheduling, billing, document preparation and file management.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in office.
Responsibilities include, among others:
- Client interaction and communication both written and verbal with clients
- Preparing court and tribunal documents and correspondence
- Organizing client documents\Document and calendar management
- Independently complete general administrative tasks, including, scheduling of meetings, phone calls, and boardrooms for lawyers, coordinate tasks and meetings with outside agencies and sources
- Manage both electronic and physical files and documents
- Collaborate and delegate effectively with the support team and the firm in general
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in employment law
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but also as part of a team
- Comfortable using/training in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, NetDocs (or similar legal management software) and web-based phone systems
- Client-Focused: Ability to interact professionally with clients and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and care
- Strong problem-solving skills
