Director of Operations
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will function as the head of human resources, manage benefit plans and payroll, monitor employee performance, and participate in decision-making processes regarding staff. Additionally, the role will encompass responsibilities in business marketing and client recruitment, as well as assisting with the financial management of the firm.
The Director of Operations will work closely with the firm’s two partners to ensure the smooth and effective management of the firm. This is a full-time, in-person position with some flexibility for remote work.
Salary Range
$85,000–$105,000 CAD annually
Key Responsibilities
- Function as the head of human resources, including recruiting and engaging staff, managing benefit plans and payroll, monitoring employee performance, and participating in decision-making processes regarding staff.
- Undertake responsibilities in business marketing and client recruitment.
- Assist with the financial management of the firm, including liaising with bookkeepers, monitoring and managing expenses, and projected revenues.
- Collaborate closely with the firm's two partners to ensure the smooth and effective management of the firm.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a human resources management role.
- College diploma, degree, or equivalent qualifications.
- Qualifications and experience in human resource management.
- Experience with marketing and/or financial management would be an asset.
- Experience or commitment to progressive causes would be an asset.
