We are looking for an outstanding administrative professional with a passion for social justice to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and various documents for arbitration and tribunal advocacy.
- Prepare and organize materials for filing with administrative bodies such as the Ontario
- Labour Relations Board, labour arbitrators, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
- Manage scheduling for hearings, meetings, and client consultations.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized digital client files.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of materials to tribunals and other regulatory bodies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing support, document management, and internal file tracking.
- Liaise with clients by phone and email throughout all stages of a matter.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk, preferably in employment, labour, and/or administrative law.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Ontario administrative law procedures, including experience with the OLRB and HRTO, considered an asset.
- Client-service oriented, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with legal document formatting, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, both remotely and in person.

Compensation
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience along with a comprehensive benefits plan including health, dental, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
The starting salary range for this position is negotiable and depends on experience. The usual range is between $55,000 and $85,000. Staff are eligible for annual salary increases and bonuses.
Our office is located close to transit hubs, including GO Transit, the TTC, and Bike Share.
