We currently have an opening for a Legal Assistant in our Toronto office to support the Emerging High Growth department.
We currently have an opening for a Legal Assistant in our Toronto office. This role will work in a 3:1 share in the Emerging High Growth department supporting one Partner and two Associates. The position requires very strong communication, organization and technical skills. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, demonstrate initiative, high attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. In addition, show strong initiative and display an interest in developing his/her knowledge of the practice area.
The successful incumbent will have a Community College Certificate in a Legal Secretarial Assistant program or equivalent experience working in a Legal Assistant role; strong technical skills (MS Office suite), be a team player, have a positive attitude and professional image. Previous billing experience would be considered an asset.
