As the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at McCarthy Tetrault, Taralyn plays a key role in developing and implementing the Firm’s comprehensive and leading diversity and inclusion program, Inclusion Now. Taralyn has been with McCarthy’s over seven years, and as a former project manager, she has hands-on experience implementing strategies and effectively leading change.

Taralyn has had a lifelong passion for diversity and inclusion. Her academic background focused on gender equality and social justice and she is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Toronto in Adult Education, focusing specifically on how workplaces can drive meaningful social change. Taralyn also is a part-time instructor at York University.

Taralyn’s educational and professional experience affords her a unique perspective that offers evidence-based and practical strategies and tactics for advancing social justice, and creating more diverse and inclusive workplaces.
