Tammy Nyman is a seasoned IT executive and business leader currently working as the Executive Vice President of MBC Managed IT Services. In this role, Tammy oversees operations, professional services, and sales and marketing, and has been instrumental in leading MBC to become one of the earliest security-first MSPs in Canada.

She is a small businesses cybersecurity advocate. Tammy was instrumental in creating the effective go-to-market strategy that communicates the threats and dangers of cyberattacks for small businesses, including the ramifications of small business breaches that lead to attacks on the larger enterprises. Mrs. Nyman takes it upon herself to stay abreast of the daily developments in the cybersecurity world, and curates social media campaigns that focus on spreading cybersecurity tips and advice.

Mrs. Nyman has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from York University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advertising, Media Sales from Humber College.

In 2022 Tammy was named among the Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity in Canada, and one of the WIT Mentor of The Year in 2019 by IT World Canada.
