Mary Lavis-Todd joined TLOMA in 1989 and has been actively involved with the Association where she served on the Board for three years in the capacity of President, Vice-President and Past President (2007-2009).  She has also volunteered in the capacity as Conference Chair (2013), Speaker Liaison (1992, 2006, and 2011) Nominating Committee (1996, 2009 and 2015) and the Compensation Committee (2009-2010).

Mary is the Chief Operating Officer at Hughes Amys LLP has been with the firm since 2003.  She has been in the legal industry for more than 30 years in various management roles for small and mid-sized firms.

TLOMA has been extremely beneficial to Mary's professional development and career and has provided a forum to forge great friendships and superior networking opportunities.  She believes TLOMA is a community of reciprocation that all legal managers can benefit from.  Mary is a member of Humber Law Firm Profile Program Advisory Committee, Association of Legal Administrators, ALA International Relations, Canadian Bar Association of Ontario and Legal Marketing Association.

Mary enjoys entertaining and exploring the culinary arts.  Mary and her family can be found on the ski slopes in the winter and during the summer they enjoy the serenity and vistas of Georgian Bay.
