Founder Lola Rasminsky has built four successful arts-based enterprises: a corporate training company - Beyond the Box, a thriving arts school -  the Avenue Road Arts School, and two charitable organizations: Arts for Children and Youth, and the Arts Access Fund. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Philosophy, and training as an educator, Lola is interested in new ways of developing the skills needed to be a leader who can think creatively.

She has also received training in the Circle Process of conflict resolution.

Lola has been recognized as the RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in the Trailblazer Category. She has received the Toronto Mayor’s Arts Award, the Canadian Urban Institute’s Local Hero Award, and was honoured with the Order of Canada. She currently sits as a Board Member of the Toronto Foundation.
