He has expertise in all aspects of effective plan sponsorship, including plan philosophy and design, service provider search and selection, competitive positioning, investment manager selection and monitoring, plan participant education and engagement, as well as governance and compliance. His experience extends to organizations in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, and he maintains a niche practice supporting internationally based organizations with navigating the Canadian pension and group savings plan landscape.

Jacob has a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in financial services, a Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and is licensed to provide advice to group annuity plan sponsors in multiple provincial jurisdictions.

Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, he is a passionate and vocal advocate for a fair and transparent retirement income system in Canada. He actively participates in speaking engagements at industry events and volunteers with a well-recognized, industry-related non-profit advocacy organization.
