Greg Hurley is Area Vice President of Gallagher Canada’s Group Benefit Consulting practice. Greg specializes in partnering with organizations to design, implement and manage group benefit programs that align with each company’s needs and strategy.
Greg has been with Gallagher for over a decade and provides strategic consulting advice to more than 100 organizations with operations that span almost every Canadian jurisdiction. Greg is well versed in both public, private, for profit and non-profit sectors working with clients in all areas and all sizes, from fortune 500 organizations to local proprietorships. Greg has assisted clients in setting up benefit committees, developing employee communication programs, spearheading enrolments, assessment of funding arrangements and all other prevalent areas as they pertain to the benefits program.
Greg co-leads the Canadian Benefits M&A practice for Gallagher having successfully assisted in the benefit consolidation and harmonization of multiple private equity and employer based acquisitions here in Canada including multiple organizations in the legal space.
Greg graduated with distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University with his business degree majoring in finance and insurance. Greg has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investment Funds Course (IIFC), Life License (LLQP), and Group Benefit Associate (GBA) programs. Greg currently sits on the board of directors for the CFO Leadership council in Toronto in addition to sitting on multiple advisory committees for Canadian insurers.
