Derek Cullen is the firm’s Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic direction for all information technology initiatives. Derek joined Stikeman Elliott in 2016 as the National Director, IT Infrastructure and Applications. Derek is a seasoned technology executive with over 27 years of achievements, providing strategic direction in technology leadership at top-tier consulting firms, Fortune 500 banks, and insurance companies. With a reputation built on the drive to challenge, articulate and manage best of breed technology solutions, Derek brings essential experience to assist the firm with all aspects of technology enablement and in supporting legal tech innovation. Background

Derek began his career reporting to the Chief Justice of Ontario, Managing all aspects of IT for General Division courthouses within the province. From there Derek has held various Leadership roles for top global companies including: RBC, TD Bank, Manulife, IBM, and Accenture.
