Candace Pietras is the national professional liability insurance leader for Purves Redmond Limited and she specializes in representing law firms, design professionals, and complex global clients. She has taught risk management courses at the Insurance Institute of Canada, graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from McGill University and holds a fellow chartered insurance professional designation, and certificates in general risk management and construction risk management.

In the last 18 months she has helped 12 clients with cyber claims, and most have involved ransomware attacks. She is happy to discuss risk control practices so that law firms can mitigate this risk and avoid a stressful claim.
