Alishia is an experienced certified Human Resources professional that has built her career in the legal industry.  Her passion continues to be people, relationship management and efficient and effective delivery of the Legal Support model as it relates to servicing legal professionals.  Alishia joined Torys in January 2021 as the Senior Manager, Legal Support. As a member of the Human resources team, Alishia oversees the legal support function in Toronto as well as Torys’ cross-border Document Services Centre.  With a focus on providing the highest level of support to legal professionals, Alishia works closely with her team to continuously assess and evolve the legal support model to meet the changing needs of the legal professionals, to provide development opportunities to legal support professionals and improve business processes through enhanced workflow and technology.  Prior to joining Torys, Alishia held management positions in Human Resources in two prominent global firms.

Alishia has over 18 years’ experience in Human Resources and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
