Alan Deer is a consultant, assessor and product specialist in office ergonomics.  He has been a product rep for Ergonomic Accessories Inc. since 1996 and has been performing educational seminars and one-on-one consulting since 1998.  Alan specializes in assessments for workers with mild to severe injuries.  He provides simple and cost-effective solutions to reduce/eliminate risks and keep workers on the job or help them return to work.  His educational seminars kick-start health & safety awareness campaigns and help build positive worker-management relations in a proactive setting. 

Through Deer Enterprises, Alan provides the following services:

• Individual ergonomic assessments for injured or returning employees, assessing and identifying posture issues, and developing an action plan for implementation by the employer
• Large group educational seminars on ergonomic theory, equipping attendees with the knowledge to adjust their own workstations
• Workplace audits to identify general risks and potential hazardous working conditions for all employees
• Walk-thru style one-on-one quick consults all staff in a department/division to identify and correct easy-to-fix risks or hazards 

Through Ergonomic Accessories, Alan provides the following services:

• Consultation on office ergonomics products for health and safety professionals from a variety of sectors including hospitals, corporations, non-profit organizations, and government
• Development of ergonomic furniture standards programs implemented by designers and furniture dealers for corporate clients

• Development of designs and/or modifications of ergonomic products including sit-stand mechanisms, keyboard and mouse platforms, document holders and custom chairs
