Lace up your running shoes and join Phil Marsh, Regional Manager at the Running Room for a picturesque 5K run or walk along the iconic Rideau Canal. Whether you're an experienced runner or just getting started, this event is perfect for all fitness levels and worth waking up for!
To make sure everything runs smoothly, please follow these instructions:
- Arrive Early: We encourage all participants to arrive at the Westin Lobby by 6:40 AM. This will give you enough time to check in and prepare for the event.
- Check-in: Look for our friendly volunteers who will be standing beside the "Morning on the Canal" sign in the Westin Lobby. They will help you complete the check-in process and provide you with any necessary event information.
- Dress Appropriately: Be sure to wear comfortable athletic clothing and appropriate running/walking shoes. Don't forget to bring any items you might need, such as water bottles or sunscreen.
- Stay Hydrated: We will have a water station available post-run/walk, but it's a good idea to bring your own water bottle for convenience.
- Have Fun: Most importantly, have a great time! This event is not just about fitness but also about building connections and enjoying the company of your fellow conference attendees.
