Nicole Heighington is the Chief Financial Officer for BMC Networks, an IT Managed Service Provider that specializes in law firms. Nicole is responsible for the accounting and finance, human resources and administration functions and passionately advocates for women both personally and professionally. Nicole believes in a growth mindset and lives her core values of integrity, respect, courage and gratitude.
Nicole comes from an entrepreneurial family and her business knowledge started early, with dinner table conversations about customer service, quality and of course, profitability. This spurred her to obtain a Bachelor of Commerce degree from what is now the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto and then a Chartered Accountant designation, articling at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver. She was a founding member of IT Nation Evolve’s CFO peer group that focuses on the managed MSP industry and provides leadership, strategic direction, accountability and results in all that she does.
Personally, Nicole is staying active and spending more time with friends and family now that her twin boys are away at University.
