Description
Holding a Facilities Management Certificate, Cynthia Perrone parlays her knowledge of construction management into her position at Goodmans LLP, one of Canada’s premier law firms. She collaborates with lawyers and an administrative staff of 30 to provide a wide variety of ergonomic solutions and great customer service. Cynthia, who previously worked for Ernst & Young Canada, Torys LLP and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, developed an impressive background in workspace planning and contract management. She is a member of the International Facility Management Association and the Board of The Law Office Management Association.

Do you want to participate in a simple ergo demo? Most people spend one-third or more of their lives at work and employers have a workplace health and safety commitment to prevent workplace strains.
Our TLOMA Facility SIG leader, Cynthia Perrone, is a Certified Ergonomist who can take the mystery out of Ergonomics. She will perform an easy ergonomic set up demo which will enable you to determine what tools and adjustments are necessary for your people. Discomfort and fatigue can be reduced, in most cases, by making proper adjustments to equipment and furniture. Proper posture, periodic stretching and breaks from the computer can also prevent strains in the workplace. It all starts with the desk chair!
Please note that this demo is not a certification program, however Cynthia will provide the attendees with a booklet of ergonomic guidelines and a link that you can access if anyone wants to take a certification course.
