TLOMA Human Resources SIG - Ask An Employment Lawyer: Bill 149 - Pay Transparency, AI in Recruitment, Competition Act and More
Description
This event will be held in-person and via webinar. Registration closes April 23, 2024.
TLOMA is proud to welcome Lorenzo Lisi and Michael Horvat to speak with attendees regarding potential changes that may impact Human Resources and Management Professionals.
Lorenzo and Michael will provide us with an update on the status of Bill 149 and how that can impact your recruitment initiatives.
As part of Bill 149, topics such as pay transparency and Artificial Intelligence (AI) used in recruitment will be covered. As well, they will be touching upon The Competition Act and how to navigate yourself to be in accordance of The Competition Act.
This session will be highly interactive, both in person and virtually, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask Experts in Employment Law any employment related questions they may have.
We would request that if you have any questions in advance, to please reach out to
Anthony Belmonte by Friday, April 26 with your questions so that Lorenzo and Michael can prepare for them. You will also be welcome to ask any questions that come up during this session.
