Front Desk Administrator
We are looking for a fun, interesting, and engaging person to be the face of our office. Spark LLP operates out of SparkTown Law Chambers (www.dolawbetter.ca) a fun and dynamic community of lawyers in downtown Toronto. We are hiring a Front Desk Administrator who will work closely with our Office Manager in making sure that our community runs smoothly. Your duties will include some legal administrative tasks and bookkeeping, ongoing receptionist duties, and assisting with firm marketing activities.
In more detail, we will need your help
- receiving and forwarding faxes from opposing counsel, drafting correspondence and memos (occasionally), drafting simple court documents (occasionally) such as Orders, Notice of Examinations, Affidavits of Documents
- assist with preparing expense reports, reconciling monthly corporate expenditures, inputting monthly bookkeeping and accounting info
- maintaining the café, tidying up boardrooms after meetings, opening and distributing incoming mail, ordering couriers and process servers, sending mail, greeting and directing clients and other visitors, assisting other lawyers in the office with general administrative tasks (proofreading, scanning, court document assembling), coordinating meetings with boardroom schedules
- suggesting and executing marketing content ideas for firm social media platforms, creating firm marketing collateral, analyzing industry trends and periodically doing competitive analysis
