As a member of the Centr e for Construction and Engineering Technology at George Brown College\, wh ere he is Program Coordinator and Professor within the School of Computer Technology&rsquo\;s post-graduate programming\, his non-teaching duties in clude program coordination\, as well as analysis and development of new pr ogramming. Further\, he is actively involved in research projects and indu stry liaison activities for the school\, acting as the Principle Investiga tor on multiple research projects\, and project lead with industry. Specif ic areas of research interest include green and sustainable building techn ologies\, as well as health technologies. Tyler&rsquo\;s past portfolio in cludes working in organization and staff development capacities within mul tiple organizations\, where he was responsible for the design\, delivery a nd evaluation of programming and workshops. He has been recognized by the Canadian Society of Training and Development and HR Reporter Magazine for his coordination of staff development programming\, and was recognized by George Brown College in 2005\, receiving the distinguished Award of Teachi ng Excellence.
